Goldenrod Pappus Stage

This is the end cycle stage for the common yellow Goldenrod plant. It turns white, fluffy and distributes its seeds around in the wind. Contrary to popular belief, it does NOT cause allergies. Its pollen is too heavy to be blown far from the plant itself. The main allergies, on the other hand, is caused by Ragweed.
